The Week 7 national top-25 rankings are in and updated as we head into the New Year. No major shifts have been made in this week's national top-25 rankings but we are on tap for a few highly anticipated matchups this week.
The 2020 Beach Ball Classic tipped off this week and a plethora of top programs are competing for a tournament championship in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Below you can find our updated national top-25 rankings.
***High School programs competing as 'club' teams with identical rosters are being treated like a standard high schools.
1. Montverde Academy (FL) (10-0)
Montverde Academy is now on a 35-game winning streak after winning their City of Lakes Classic and dating back to their 25-0 season last year. The Eagles will not play again until the weekend of January 7th as they begin NIBC league play in Springfield, Virginia at the St. James Invitational.
2. Sunrise Christian (KS) (5-0)
Sunrise Christian holds their number two spot in our latest updated top-25 national rankings. The Buffaloes will not play again until NIBC league play begins the weekend of January 7th in Springfield, Virginia at the St. James Invitational.
3. IMG Academy (FL) (7-0)
The Ascenders went 2-0 last week at the Carolina Hoops-Mas Showcase in South Carolina and improving to 7-0 on the season. IMG Academy will host the Ascenders Classic on January 8th and 9th on their campus.
4. Compass Prep (AZ) (13-0)
The Dragons are expected to play again in early January in Phoenix, Arizona as part of the Grind Session bubble.
5. Wasatch Academy (UT) (11-0)
Wasatch Academy holds their spot at number five in our latest top-25 national rankings. The Tigers are not expected to play again until NIBC league play begins the weekend of January 7th in Springfield, Virginia at the St. James Invitational.
6. Coronado (NV) (1-0)
The Cougars are expected to get things going next month and will be apart of the League of Legends event in Phoenix, Arizona the weekend of January 22nd.
7. Minnehaha Academy (MN) (1-0)
Minnehaha Academy is expected to begin their 2020-2021 high school season next month on January 4th.
8. Sierra Canyon (CA) (0-1)
Sierra Canyon is expected to play again on January 9th in Dallas, Texas as part of the Battle Basketball Showcase. The Trailblazers will face #13 Ypsi Prep Academy (MI). Fox Sports 1 is expected to televise the highly anticipated matchup.
9. St. Frances Academy (MD) (8-0)
The Panthers squeezed by Real Salt Lake Academy (UT) in their first round matchup at the Beach Ball Classic Winter Jam and will face #12 Combine Academy (NC) in the semifinals later today.
10. Oak Hill Academy (VA) (7-0)
Oak Hill Academy will not be playing again until the weekend of January 7th. The NIBC league play is set to begin that exact weekend in Springfield, Virginia at the St. James Invitational.
11. Duncanville (TX) (12-0)
The Panthers have won twelve straight games this season after defeating DeSoto (TX) last week. Duncanville will face Waco Midway in their only game this week.
12. Combine Academy (NC) (13-1)
Combine Academy holds their spot at number twelve in our latest top-25 national rankings even though they took their first lost of the season last week to Moravian Prep (NC). The Goats defeated #23 iSchool Lewisville (TX) to advance to the second round of the Beach Ball Classic Winter Jam where they will face #9 St. Frances Academy (MD).
13. Ypsi Prep Academy (MI) (2-2)
Ypsi Prep Academy is scheduled to play their next game in Dallas, Texas to face #8 Sierra Canyon (CA) at the Battle Basketball Showcase on January 9th.
14. Legacy Early College (SC) (8-1)
The Lions are not expected to play again until the weekend of January 7th as NIBC league play begins in Springfield, Virginia at the St. James Invitational.
15. Prolific Prep (CA) (17-3)
Prolific Prep bumps their winning streak to ten straight and have improved to a 17-3 overall record on the season. The Crew will not play again until early January as they are expected to appear in the Grind Session bubble in Phoenix, Arizona.

16. Bishop Gorman (NV) (0-0)
Bishop Gorman should get things going next month as they are expected to appear in the loaded League of Legends showcase out in Phoenix, Arizona. The Gaels have a major matchup against #6 Coronado (NV) on January 22nd.
17. Camden (NJ) (0-0)
The Panthers are expected to begin their season next month and are one of the top programs in the state of New Jersey as their 2020-2021 high school season begins.
18. DeMatha Catholic (MD) (0-0)
DeMatha Catholic has began practicing this month and will begin their 2020-2021 high school season beginning next month. The defending WCAC champions are already scheduled to face John Marshall (VA) and Milton (GA) as part of the St. James Invitational next month.
19. Long Island Lutheran (NY) (0-0)
Long Island Lutheran has still not finalized their schedule for the 2020-2021 high school season but they are expected to be able to begin their season in January.
20. La Lumiere (IN) (0-0)
La Lumiere will begin their 2020-2021 high school season in the next couple of weeks as they are expected to begin NIBC league play the weekend of January 7th in Springfield, Virginia at the St. James Invitational.
21. West Oaks Academy (FL) (7-3)
The Flame win their first round matchup with Word of God (NC) in the Beach Ball Classic Winter Jam tournament in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. West Oaks will face Winston-Salem Christian (NC) today in the semifinals matchup.
22. Dream City Christian (AZ) (10-4)
Dream City Christian will not play again until January where they are expected to compete in the Grind Session bubble out in Phoenix, Arizona.
23. Westtown School (PA) (0-0)
Westtown School is expected to begin their season next month and have already scheduled games against #3 IMG Academy (FL) and #4 Compass Prep (AZ) at the St. James Invitational in Springfield, Virginia on MLK weekend.
24. The Patrick School (NJ) (0-0)
The Celtics are expected to begin their 2020-2021 high school season next month in the state of New Jersey. The Patrick School could begin their season ranked in our top-25 national rankings. Their schedule has yet to be finalized and confirmed.
25. iSchool of Lewisville (TX) (9-4)
iSchool Lewisville loses back-to-back games to #1 Montverde Academy (FL) and #12 Combine Academy (NC). The Cougars are now in the consolation bracket of the Beach Ball Classic Winter Jam and will face Real Salt Lake Academy (UT) later today.
