The Star(s)

Gicarri Harris will lead the way for the Grayson Rams and is a player you can trust to lead with poise and great shotmaking. Harris, a 4-star recruit in the class of 2024, is a tremendous shooter, not caring about constensts in the slightest bit and allows him to play on and off the ball. He’ll be able to stretch out defenses and open up driving lanes himself with his shooting. The 6’4 combo guard has shown he can take care of the ball very well and makes the right decisions even if he isn’t a primary point guard. The defense has shown as well as he can set the tone at the point of attack and shows he actively cares on that end of the court. The Rams also will feature 2025 4-star Jacob Wilkins, son of NBA legend Dominique Wilkins. Wilkins hasn’t filled out his game or body yet being a very slim 6’7 wing, but the talent is clearly there to be untapped. He has a great jumper for his height and with his long wingspan and just being a mobile as he his, defensively he can cause havoc for other teams and those two important components for a wing will grant you pro upside.

Closing Remarks

Grayson has consistently been a great program in the Georgia high school basketball ranks and they look primed to make a great run in the 2023-24 season. With Harris in contention for Mr. Basketball in the state of Georgia, the Rams have a well rounded squad alongside their star with Jacob Wilkins, senior guard CJ Hyland, and junior big man Amir Taylor. Grayson plays a fun and modern style of basketball that will make for good basketball and most importantly, wins on the final record.
